Chalet Berry

Chalet Berry is a beautiful and unique building built in 1895. The house is set on large grounds, surrounded by trees with a back drop of snow-capped mountains. Every window looks out to a stunning view and all the potential activities of each day.

It was once the village of Taconnaz Schoolhouse and offered education to the local children between the ages of 5 and 12. After the closure of the school in the 1990s it was tastefully renovated whilst keeping its cozy character and charm with the novel approach of Alpine paraphernalia and use of the original school furniture in its construction.

You will find ice axes and advertising posters hung on the walls and the mezzanine floors are actually made from the school's old desks! The lounge's large windows and terrace are perfect for admiring the breath taking scenery and dreaming up plans for your stay. 

Chalet Berry sleeps a maximum of 22 people with the option of renting individual floors.

In the Chalet Berry there is 1 completely self-contained apartment that has an equipped modern kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms that sleep up to 6 people and a fast free WIFI connection. There is an abundance of hot water and the house is central heated.

For a little more ambiance there is a wood fire in the ground floor lounge.

The local supermarket/shopping centre is also 5 minutes by car and 15 minutes’ walk away.
