About the chalet

A large spacious chalet apartment located in a beautiful part of Chamonix - ideally situated at the end of Chamonix's main high street, Rue Doctor Paccard, but also in a serene and peaceful environment. The apartment's location offers dramatic views of the Chamonix valley from the balcony. It is about a 5-minute walk to the Brevent ski lift and Maison de la Montagne - the main ski school. There is also a ski bus stop outside and the traditional pub Le Gite Vagabond that serves good food is right opposite! There is a public car park less than 1 minute walk away (cost approximately 20 eur per week) and you can also often grab free parking along Route des Pecles.

The apartment is very spacious and comfortably furnished. It was recently refurbished, painted and has new oak floors. There is a fully fitted separate kitchen with conventional and microwave oven, brand new large American style Bosch fridge-freezer, extractor fan, hob, plus kettle - and of course fully equipped with all utensils. The large lounge is comfortably furnished with a large 3-seater sofa, additional tub chair seating plus a dining table and chairs for up to 6 people. From the windows there are astonishing views of Mont Blanc. There is a new 32 inch flat screen Smart TV with an Apple TV box so load up your iPad with movies plus a DVD player and a library of DVDs plus kids' books, games and jigsaws - UK sockets are also available. Both bedrooms have twin beds that can form double beds and are tastefully furnished with additional storage. There is one bathroom with bath tub, shower, wash basin, mirror and a WC plus a washing machine and drying racks. The large separate hallway is ideal for storage of equipment and there is a private ski locker on the ground floor.

The apartment also comes with a free wireless ADSL internet connection. A bio supermarket is 50m away. The quiet setting and residential environment makes it a perfect choice for families. There are other MyFrenchChalet apartments in the building (ground floor) making it possible for 2 families or larger groups.
