Welcome
Located on the edge of the Les Nants / Les Praz areas of Chamonix, Chalet Vert et Blanc is ideally situated enabling easy access to all skiing areas, while a short riverside walk takes you directly into Chamonix town centre. So, if you want peace and tranquillity or to party 'til dawn, the location of the chalet is perfect.
Chalet Vert et Blanc is an owner run chalet newly renovated to our own high standards, our aim has been to create a welcoming and comfortable home-from-home with a sense of style and quality.
Property description
The Rooms
All of the Bedrooms and en-suites have been decorated and furnished to create a restful atmosphere conducive to a great nights sleep.
The Chalet is an original Chamonix house which was built in 1949, during the renovation process we have endeavoured to retain as much of the original character of the property as possible whilst using modern materials to create a true mix of old and new. Lots of wood warm colours and textures with an open fire in the sitting room create and welcoming feel.
All of the Bedrooms have stylish en-suites bathrooms with powerful showers, some also have baths an abundance of hot water is available to create a peaceful haven to rest and recuperate after a day on the slopes. All of the bedrooms have been carefully decorated and furnished to create a restful atmosphere conducive to a great nights sleep, waking each morning to open your shutters to an amazing view of the mountains refreshed for another day on the slopes.
The chalet has a large living room with an open fire and French windows opening onto a terrace that has stunning mountain views. Outside there is a hot tub from where you can experience impressive views of Mont Blanc and Les Drus whilst enjoying a soak and a glass of wine. Inside there is also a games room with snooker / pool table and a selection of parlour games, a sauna and a ski / boot storage room. The eight twin, double or family bedrooms are all extremely well appointed each with en-suite bath or shower rooms.
Bedrooms
All of the bedrooms are named after people who have influenced the history of Chamonix, and with the exception of Paradis and Wyndam each room has a view of Les Drus, Mont Blanc or both. Paradis and Wyndam which looks out from the rear of the property has views of Brevant and Flegere.
Each room has an en-suite bathroom with Shower, Sink and WC and four have the additional benefit of baths.
* Balmat - sleeps three adults, having a double bed and a single bed. A cot can be added to this room, the en-suite includes a bath
* Paccard - Sleeps two having twin beds. A cot could be added to this room
* Pococke - Sleeps two having a double bed
* Wyndam - Sleeps two having a double bed one of our smaller rooms
* Payot - Sleeps two having a double bed one of our smaller rooms
* Vallot - Sleeps four having a double bed and two single bed a cot could be added to this room, the en-suite includes a bath
* Coutterand - Sleeps three having a double bed and a single bed. A cot could be added to this room, the en-suite includes a bath.
* Paradis - Sleeps three having a double and a single bed, en-suite includes a bath

Our aim is to make your stay with us as enjoyable and relaxing as possible with friendly service being the key.

* All prices are per person based upon a minimum of two people sharing an ensuite room on a fully catered basis as described
* For additional people sharing rooms with 3 or 4 beds a reduction of 35% will be made on the published price for person 3 and 4 The first two people will be charged at full price
* Children under the age of two will be free of charge if sharing with two full paying adults
* Children under the age of 12 will be discounted at a rate of 50% if sharing a room with two adults paying full rate
* Children under the age of 12 sharing a room with 1 adult or another child will be discounted by 20%
* Children of 12 and above will be charged at the full rate
* Sole occupancy a premium of 60% of the room rate will be added to rooms booked on a sole occupancy basis
* Price stability once your holiday is booked there will be no increase in the advertised price
Deposit
20% deposit required at the time of making your booking the remainder to be paid 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday, should booking be made within 8 weeks of the start of your holiday payment to be made in full at time of booking. If payment is not received we reserve the right to cancel the arrangements without further notice or reference to the client at which point you will forfeit your deposit. Deposits are non refundable unless we are unable to accept your booking.

Summer Pricing
The chalet is available for bookings from 1st June until early October, on a bed and breakfast basis there is a possibility of half board dependant on group numbers.
Single Room Lets
During the summer months we operate on a bed and breakfast basis,

Stays of 7 nights or more 40.00 euro pppn

We had a fantastic stay at "Chalet Vert Et Blanc"! It really was the
best chalet we have ever stayed in. Top class food (restaurant
standard), hospitality and comfort! Nothing was too much trouble for
Jackie and David and the whole group agreed we could not fault the
holiday in any way! Oh and did I mention the cakes?!!!! Amazing!!
Would definitely go back, however we are going to Austria next year!
