Chalet description
La Ferme du Tour is a 19th Century French farmhouse that has been exquisitely refurbished using many original timbers and stone. It has been tastefully equipped with antique furniture and decorated traditionally.
As you enter the chalet, you are greeted by the large living and dining area with its deep comfortable sofas and open fireplace. To the right is the open plan kitchen with plenty of work surfaces and all the modern facilities. The chalet has underfloor heating throughout, so you won’t feel the cold.
On the first floor, there is the TV and sitting area leading to the bedrooms and main bathroom and WC. The vast master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with twin basins and a bath. On the same level is another large double bedroom and a twin bedroom. A ladder stair then leads to a mezzanine bedroom area with 2 single futon style beds and 2 banquette beds suitable for children.
Outside, the chalet has commanding views of the Chamonix Valley with all day sun and is literally metres from the La Vormaine nursery slopes. The main Le Tour télécabine is 200 metres away giving access to the whole of the Domaine du Balme ski area, meaning the chalet is in a rare ski-in, ski-out position.
