Chalet Description Due to its close proximity to the blue piste, 'Les Aillouds', This Chalet makes an ideal base for all skiing abilities, as you can ski to and from the chalet on a wide easy track that loops off the main piste. It drops down to the brand new Prarion lift, 200 metres away, giving you speedy access to the rest of the resort. You will also find the Battendier Sports ski hire shop here which gives you preferential Barrelli Ski rates for your eqpt hire, the ESF Office and the ChamBus stop, giving access to all the other resorts in the valley. There are also bars, restaurants and a boulangerie here for your morning bread and croissants. The chalet is imaginatively designed, and finished to a very high standard with many unique ideas and quirky features. The superbly original 'Bedouin' tent bedroom, complete with fake fabric windows is just one example of that and is like something out of a Laurence of Arabia film set! The spacious living room has a high sloping ceiling with skylights, is rustically stylish and comfy with lots of battered leather sofas and armchairs around the fire. It has a separate dining room with a really homely feel to it, with its' eclectic mix of furniture and nick knacks. Tucked around the corner, adjoining this is a well equipped family kitchen, with plenty of storage and lots of utensils and objects hanging from the walls and ceilings. There are two shower rooms, one en-suite and an attractive bathroom with corner bath. It also has a cute little sauna to add to the self contained luxury of this remarkably 'cool' chalet! SELF CATERING CHALET PRICES INCLUDE 7 nights self catered accommodation; electricity, heating, hot water and local tourist taxes. Does not include: towels and bed linen (can bring own or hire from us for £15.00 per person); final chalet clean (from £60 - £150 depending on size of chalet and length of clean), firewood (£30 for chalets with log fires) or telephone. A fully returnable security deposit of £250 is also required with your final balance. ONE WEEK CATERED OPTIONS  You can book our locally based chefs to cook for you in your chalet. Our weekly catering option includes full breakfast, afternoon tea and homemade cakes and four course evening meal with wine and cheeseboard; bed linen, towels and final chalet clean; firewood. Please add following amounts (per person per week) for this service: £195 per adult; £135 per child u.12yrs; £95 per child u.5yrs; infants u.2yrs free. Staff have one day off. HOSTED EVENING MEALS  You can book our freelance chef to host a catered evening in your chalet (subject to availability) - to cook, serve up and clear away. You can book two levels of service: a full three course meal with wine at a cost of £24 per person or a more basic 2 course meal with wine at a cost of £16 per person.
