Chalet description
The owner is a lovely French lady, former ski racer with wonderful taste so the chalet is full of trophies, mountain memorabilia, gorgeous fabrics and furniture. Previously she had another chalet in Argentière, which we rented for clients several years ago and it was always incredibly popular.
This traditional farmhouse of approximately 400m2 is located in the centre of the old village of Argentière. The south facing balconies provide a spectacular view of the Mont-Blanc massif. The chalet is tastefully decorated in traditional wood and has two very spacious living areas, one with a fireplace, offering a great place to relax after a day on the slopes.
This chalet is past the church in Argentière, on the right hand-side. The chalet is a gorgeous mix of old and new with lots of old wood. There is a big hall, a square lounge with stairs leading up from it to the first floor, which has three beautiful double bedrooms all with lovely ensuite bathrooms and good views. Then there is a twin bedroom, with another single bedroom leading off it. These two rooms share a bath and shower room and there is a sauna here for the chalet. Then there is a big attic with a lounge area and double/twin bed.
There is outdoor decking at each level and the most incredible view of the Grands Montets.
