About the chalet

The property is south facing and looks down on Chamonix town. It is situated up on the north side of the valley so it captures the sun for most of the day. It has vistas across from Grand Montets and Les Drus along to the Aiguille de Midi and of course mont blanc itself. The plot is about 1/2 acre and is on the edge of the forest at the end of a private lane so it gives great privacy. The garden is tiered and blends seamlessly into the forest behind. It has a large area of decking and a balcony as well as a large picture window to give as much opportunity to enjoy the views. It is situated half way between the ski aeras of Brevent and Flegere and just above the Savoy nursery slopes. It backs on the Le Floria path which in the winter and snow conditions permit you can ski back to the chalet (black run). The same forest path is used from May to September by walkers and mountain bikers and is the finishing route for the famous North Face UTMB race at the end of August.

Facilities and Amenities

The property has 6 bedrooms ( 1 master bedroom with ensuite, 3 double / twin bed rooms and 2 adult size bunk bed rooms each bunk bed having a single kids trundle bed underneath). It has 3 bathrooms with the main bathroom containing a "boat" bath and a "rain head" shower. The two remaining bathrooms have "slipper" baths. The heating system is an underfloor piped system as well as 2 large hot water tanks. It has a well appointed open plan kitchen with a range cooker, double dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge and freezer. The living room has a large "Clearview" wood burning stove, a large HD plasma tv with satellite connection as well as a playstation 3 and Ninendo wii fit all connected into a Bose media system. It has two further HD tvs and a playstation 2. It has wi-fi broadband. Outside beside the mazot it has the latest Hydropool 10 person jacuzzi with its own integral sound system. It has a garage and ample parking either on the driveway or beside the lane in front of the property...
