Chalet introduction
Chalet Chintalaya is a lovely, privately-owned chalet located in an enviable, riverside position in the heart of Chamonix and is close to all the towns amenities, shops, bars and restaurants.
"Chintalaya", the ancient Sanskrit word meaning "place for thoughts" has recently been refurbished and offers a contemporary yet homely feel making for a relaxed stay.
The chalet is just a 3 minute walk from the Aiguille de Midi cable car with spectacular views of the Mont Blanc massif.
As well as having the advantage of being central, Chintalaya is nestled in a peaceful spot next to the River L’Arve and set in a stunning back drop of mountain scenery.

The chalet has 5 ensuite bedrooms on 2 floors, with one being a family room for four, accommodating 12 people. It has been substantially improved and modernised over the last few years and a programme of continuing improvements is being followed during 2007.
