Chalet les Pelerins, the pilgrims chalet. Situated in Chamonix below the imposing glaciers cascading down from the summit of Mt Blanc, Europes highest mountain. We designed the interiors to create an exclusive retreat with views that will inspire you to your next adventures.
Mountains in mind
As well as making sure your stay in the mountain is comfortable as possible we believe it should not cost the earth. We are the first "Green" chalet in chamonix, with solar powered heating and hot water (dont worry there is a gas back up when the sun does not shine).

Accommodation
The guest accommodation is spread over two floors, and has been especially designed to provide flexible accommodation for different sizes of groups. Each floor constitutes a self contained apartment, but during the winter we generally keep both floors joined together as a big chalet.

Featuring a traditional Savoyard fireplace, large seating & dining area with French doors opening out onto the South West facing terrace. Clear views of Mont Blanc & Aiguille du Midi.

Professionally equipped kitchen normally occupied by our chef ! Of course if you have booked the chalet as self catered then you will be able to make full use of the extensive facilities.
Basement
The basement can be accessed independantly has ski lockers, boot dryers, the laundry room plus the staff accommodation. A 4 person bunk room is available on request for larger groups. Garden Chalet Les Pelerins benefits from an exceptionally large garden area, parking for 8 cars, large terrace and a back lawn certainly large enough snowball fights in the winter & games of football in the summer. We have also integrated a climbing wall onto the exterior of the chalet, ideal either for those who want to try “top rope” climbing for the first time, or for experts to practise their bouldering skills.

Lounge / Dining / Kitchen
A large, high ceiling space with views of Mont Blanc, Aiguille du Midi, plus a balcony that catches the evening sun. In “chalet” mode this is a guest lounge area, equipped with flat screen, DVD, CD player plus internet access. If you book the whole chalet as a group then two people may sleep on the sofa beds. In “self-cater” mode then you also have use of the fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher.
Environment
We are committed to making our impact on the environment as light as possible. We are the first Chalet in Chamonix to have solar panels. During our refurbishment we have taken every opportunity to insulate, even putting on an extra roof!
Solar Hot Water system.
Of course in winter it wont meet all our needs but in summer we expect it to provide 100% of hot water and in winter we should reduce our Carbon emmissions by 50%
Extra Insulation.
As well as the double roof, we have double glazed the windows, so being friendly to the environment does not mean walking around in wooly jumpers.

Prices quoted are per person based on two people sharing a twin room. Prices includes accommodation, breakfast afternoon tea and three course evening meal with wine (on 6 out of 7 nights allowing for a staff day off ). Singles requiring sole occupancy of a twin room will be charged 50% extra Checkout time for the chalets on day of departure is 10am (bags may be stored at the chalet to be collected later).
