Chamonix chalet description
Situated in Les Bossons, a few kms from Chamonix town. We moved in in the spring of 2003 and spent the summer renovating from the ground up. The first thing that grabbed us about the chalet was the massive garden and incredible view from from the balcony. We are overlooked by the Mont-Blanc massif, the Les Bossons and Taconnaz glaciers and the highest cable car in Europe, the Aiguille du Midi.
Ski room entrance is on the ground floor which leads through to a corridor off which are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are 2 roomy twins and a triple. Skiroom has stairs leading up to the first floor where we have 2 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge with exposed wooden beams, a bathroom and a loo. One bedroom is a good sized south facing double with double doors out onto the balcony. Other bedroom is a good sized twin.
From the lounge, there are wooden stairs up to a mezzanine overlooking the lounge where there's 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a small area for reading, board games or just relaxing. One bedroom is ours and the other is a small twin.

The future is flexible
The way we take our holidays is changing. Ski holidays used to be a one week Saturday to Saturday affair but that's all in the past. That's why we think a new way of taking a ski break is needed.
The budget airlines have made Saturday to Saturday and weekend breaks costly due to their flight pricing structure so the future is flexible breaks.
We let you arrive any day you like, leave any day you like and only pay for the services your need. If you want to drive, fine. If you only want B&B, fine. If you need airport transfer and a taxi to slopes, fine, we'll organise it for you.
Who runs the chalet?
The chalet is owned and run by myself and my wife Fiona with a little help from our golden retriever Gomez. We made this fantastic valley our home many years ago. We both speak french and both love the winter and summer sport. Together we will make your stay in our home a very memorable one.
Fiona takes care of most of the cooking (although I am very proud of my sticky toffee pudding) whilst I take care of breakfasts and getting people to and from the slopes.
If we get time, we love to get up the mountain with you. Fiona snowboards and I am a keen telemark skiier. Gomez isn't allowed on the pistes though so we have been spending more and more time on snow shoes - don't knock it 'til you've tried it.
Apart from the weeks of New Year and half term, you can arrive any time you like and leave any time you like. We just have a minimum requirement of 3 nights B&B for a room for 2 people. Call us or drop a mail to check on availability.
