However, it does nestle romantically on the hillside, at the edge of the village of Argentière, with stupendous views of the glacier opposite and down the Chamonix Valley to Mont Blanc .

The Chamonix Valley offers unrivalled skiing and boarding especially at intermediate and advanced levels.
 
Chalet Le Mouille Fétu is a traditional alpine chalet, situated a stone’s throw from all the main shops and bars of the village.

The accommodation is on a room only basis.     

They have just three rooms, one single and two twins.

Room 1 is a single. It is a cosy room with views of the glacier, the Grands Montets/Lognan ski area and Mont Blanc.

It has its own hand wash basin and access to 2 shared WCs, and the sauna/shower.

Room 2 is a twin with a view of the Aiguille du Plan.   It has an ensuite shower
room with wash basin and access to 2 shared WCs, and the sauna. 

Room 3 is a twin with a large ensuite with bath, seperate shower, hand basin and WC.

There is a ski/boot room which all guests and the owners  share.

There are numerous ski hire shops in the village to choose from; the closest 2 are less than 100 metres away and the ESF office,

If you want to take lessons from them, is also at hand.

Argentière boasts a variety of bars and restaurants but if you want an even greater choice of evening entertainment, Chamonix is easily accessible.
 
Access to the ski areas could not be easier since the bus stops are at our gate and on the opposite side of the road and buses are free if you have a ski pass. If you prefer to use the train to get to Le Tour from the Possettes lift in Vallorcine or to go down to Chamonix, the station is just 5 minutes walk away.

As standard, holidays are organized weekly, running from Wednesday evening to Wednesday morning to fit in with the Christmas and New Year Breaks and to allow you to take advantage of Easyjet’s present pricing structure.

You are free to come and go as you wish via the code entry door and each room has its own key

Guests have limited self catering facilities, comprising a shared breakfast bar equipped with fridge, kettle, cups, plates cutlery etc.

For more substantial fare there are a number of good restaurants within easy walking, the Stone Bar being the closest at 80 metres.

Just over the road from us there is a bread shop.and supermarket.
