Chalet Introduction

Chalet Buratti is a charming, rustic, newly refurbished 3 bedroom chalet, sleeping 6-8 people. In a quiet area of Chamonix, next to the Lac des Gaillands, yet walkable to the town centre, and only one minute away from buses and mountain train to the slopes, Chalet Buratti is well situated for all the ski areas of the valley.

Renovated in Summer 2004, Chalet Buratti still retains traditional touches whilst having brand new furniture, furnishings and equipment such as TV, DVD and Hi-Fi. The chalet sits in its own garden with wonderful views looking south over the Glacier de Bossons and directly up to Mont Blanc.

Location

The chalet is 150m from the Mont Blanc express station at Les Pelerins, 1.5 km from the town centre and the lifts at Brevent. Lifts up at Grands Montets & Le Tour, and down at Les Houches, are all accessible via the mountain train, or the bus, just next to the station.

Facilities

The chalet has 2 double bedrooms and one twin all on the first floor - the twin can be easily made into a double. In addition there is a bathroom on the first floor. On the ground floor there are sofas, dining space for 6-8 and a wood-burning stove. One of the sofas converts to a bed which can sleep two. The TV, DVD player and hi-fi are all in the living area. There is an additional bathroom on the lower ground floor.

There is a ski rack and space for boots in the porch, plenty of parking space and a large garden.

Quality bed linen and towels are provided free! There is a cleaning cost of £35 per week to maintain the chalet, payable in resort.

50% deposit required on booking and the remainder by 2 weeks before the start of your holiday.
