Chamonix chalet description 

This modernised chalet is located high up on the side of the Chamonix valley with breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc range and at night the twinkling lights of le Fayet village far below.  

A real mountain retreat with all modern coveniences but only 5 minutes drive the Les Houches ski lifts or 15 minutes to Chamonix town centre.  The chalet is located in the small village of Vaudagne, a very peaceful and beautiful part of the Chamonix valley with amazing views down to Servoz and to the right the Mont Blanc Range. 

It is only 5 minutes drive to the ski lifts in Les Houches or a little futher down to Chamonix. There are several good restaurants and bars such as Le Delice nearby in Les Houches but the fully equipped kitchen and spacious dining and lounge area make the chalet a great place for a comfortable night in. The views from the chalet at night are fantastic looking down on the lights in the valley below. 

In winter the whole area is covered in snow and really is a beautiful alpine spectacle, very peacefull and calm surrounded by nature. In summer it is a  fantastic spot to start the many walking trails over the mountains towards St Gervais and along to Chamonix.

The chalet itself has a large garden all around it with a stream at the back, a bbq and loungers. Surrounding the chalet are meadows covered in snow in winter and in summer you can spot deer, badgers, marmotte and birds as well as the many varieties of Alpine flowers. All bedrooms are comfortable and have great views and direct access to the balcony.

The bunk room has a sink and the rooms have plenty of storage. The main bathroom has a large window with views down the valley from the bathtub, separate shower and adjoines the master bedroom on the top floor.The second bathrom also has a bath and there are 2 separate toilets.More photos will be online soon.

First of all I want to thank you personally for your participation in our choice of chalet. It was very nice and our holiday was as expected, meaning great! But, I am cc-ing Ioana, that is our copywriter, and she is good with words to describe you better our holidays in Chamonix, since when we have good time we want to share it.
 
Finally, I want to express my best for Corin, he was a great host and as we told him we expect him in Greece or Cyprus this summer. You may know winter well, but we know summer best!
