A real mountain retreat with all modern conveniences but only 5 minutes drive the Les Houches ski lifts or 15 minutes to Chamonix town centre. The chalet is located in the small village of Vaudagne, a very peaceful and beautiful part of the Chamonix valley with amazing views down to Servoz and to the right the Mont Blanc Range.
It is only 5 minutes drive to the ski lifts in Les Houches or a little further down to Chamonix. There are several good restaurants and bars such as Le Delice nearby in Les Houches but the fully equipped kitchen and spacious dining and lounge area make the chalet a great place for a comfortable night in. The views from the chalet at night are fantastic looking down on the lights in the valley below.
In winter the whole area is covered in snow and really is a beautiful alpine spectacle, very peaceful and calm surrounded by nature. In summer it is a fantastic spot to start the many walking trails over the mountains towards St Gervais and along to Chamonix.
The chalet itself has a large garden all around it with a stream at the back, a bbq and loungers. Surrounding the chalet are meadows covered in snow in winter and in summer you can spot deer, badgers, marmotte and birds as well as the many varieties of Alpine flowers. All bedrooms are comfortable and have great views and direct access to the balcony.
The bunk room has a sink and the rooms have plenty of storage. The main bathroom has a large window with views down the valley from the bathtub, separate shower and adjoines the master bedroom on the top floor.The second bathroom also has a bath and there are 2 separate toilets.More photos will be online soon.
