Mountain escape, in comfort A beautifully renovated chalet set in the pretty hamlet of Les Tines, between Chamonix and Argentiere. This mountain retreat is a perfect escape for a family or small group of friends. A place to relax and enjoy the Chamonix views. Chalet description This chalet is beautifully decorated and in a wonderful mountain setting beside a chapel, with the river running past and fabulous views of Mont Blanc.
It has been refurbished to a high standard, using the best local Savoyarde carpenters and is ideal for a group of 6/7 adults or family groups of up to 8, with children.
Downstairs there is a cellar to keep skis, boots and other equipment. There is also a combined washing machine and tumble drier.
On the ground floor there is a small entrance hall, shower room and separate loo. The living area is open plan, incorporating the kitchen, dining and sitting areas.
The hand-made kitchen has a beautiful range, breakfast bar, granite worktops, dishwasher, microwave and large fridge with small freezer unit.
The living/dining area has a dining table and comfortable chairs around the fireplace. There is a CD player and huge picture windows looking out towards Mont Blanc.
Upstairs on the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one has a large ensuite bathroom and there is a separate shower room. Both have French windows leading to a balcony.
On the second floor there are two further bedrooms, one an amazing double bedroom with a free standing bath and basin in the same room. Lie back and soak up the view. The other is a smaller twin bedroom with a basin. The beds in this bedroom are low beds, which run into the pitch of the roof. There is a separate loo and basin. |
