Chalet Description 

This is a lovely, natural looking chalet, constructed from chunky old timbers, making it look like it really belongs in amongst all the trees and woodland around it. The chalet is located just above Les Houches village centre and is only a 5 minute walk to the local shops, local bars and the excellent 'Delice' bar and restaurant. The Chamonix bus also stops here, which connects Les Houches to all the other resorts in the Chamonix Valley. The chalet is a 15 minute walk or a 2 minute drive from the Les Houches Bellevue cable car and the foot of the World Cup Kandahar piste.

Rocky Mountain has been lovingly created using recycled timber, Australian hardwood and sun bleached driftwood, natural materials that give it a unique rustic character. Original furnishings from all over the world complement the design of the chalet, creating a tasteful and homely place to stay. There are lots of comfy sofas and cushions in the living room to relax on and there two open fires and underfloor heating to keep you snug in the winter months. As the living room is separate from the dining room, you have two large rooms to socialise in.¬

The open plan kitchen is fully equipped for preparing and sharing delicious meals. The chalet has a huge partly covered deck leading off the living room, with a BBQ, picnic table and beautiful views of the Mont Blanc mountain range. Just next to the deck you can relax in the lovely little hot tub, seemingly set amongst the alpine woodland.

All in all, a very comfortable chalet but not too 'precious', so an ideal place for families and large groups of friends. If you are looking for a 'one off' chalet where you can feel totally relaxed, look no further!
