Oscar chalet apartment was newly renovated in 2014 to a high specification. The location is fabulous, right in the centre of town as well as being 100 meters from the ski slopes - Le Savoy teleski - where all the main ski schools start and young children can be put into day ski creches. SavoyA is in a block with amenities all around it - ski hire, restaurants, supermarkets and boulangeries.

There is a public car park just 2 minutes walk away where it costs approximately 40 eur for a week. The apartment offers spectacular views up the Chamonix valley towards the Swiss border and from outside the best views of Mont Blanc. There is a Chamonix Ski bus-stop 20 metres away which services the main ski areas in the Chamonix valley. Furnishings are in a modern design. The new kitchenette is neat and equipped with modern conveniences including a conventional oven, halogen hob, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster plus the full inventory of kitchenware - if you can manage to drag yourself away from Chamonix's many fine restaurants on your doorstep.

There is a set of bunk beds neaty tucked away in the coin de montagne. The lounge area has a comfortable sofa which converts into a double bed, a flat screen TV and DVD player plus a lovely warm fluffy rug. The bathroom has a new large shower with a wash basin - perfect for relaxing after any day's activities, or for an invigorating start in the mornings. Hot water is permanently on tap, and the apartment is fully centrally heated.

The large windows can be opened to provide a magnificent view up the valley toward Switzerland. There are other apartments in the same building making larger groups possible. This apartment is ideal for a couple, young family or group of friends on a budget.
