About the Chalet
A small chalet situated between Chamonix and Argentière in the village of Les Tines this little mazot is well placed for skiing at both Les Grands Montets and Flégère – Brévent. In the summer with the River Arve running close by it is the perfect starting point for country walks. Light and very well decorated, the mazot is made entirely of wood and looks out across magnificent mountain views, especially of Les Drus. It is set in a pretty garden and is a favourite place for honeymooners.
Inside there is a dreamy little bedroom upstairs with a door leading to a small balcony and wooden stairs. Below on the ground floor you will find a shower room, a neat little kitchen (with small oven, hob, fridge and washing machine) and dining area, all in wood of course, beyond which is a living room with a large picture window (more views!).
There are two mattresses on a balcony-mezzanine which are ideal for children. All in all it is the perfect getaway for a couple or small family.

Absolutely divine place to stay. This was the first place I've holidayed where I was deeply upset to be leaving. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Colleen and Jean Marie are the most phenomenal hosts they went above and beyond to make the two weeks I spent in Chamonix incredible. The Mazot is charming beyond imagination. It is tastefully decorated and the perfect place to call home while in Chamonix. The Mazot is set among beautiful chalets close to the ski lifts (a short drive) and within walking distance to the best restaurant in the valley (le cabin). The size is perfect for 2-4 people. The Mazot provided the most idyllic setting for our honeymoon. After a day on the slopes there was no better refuge than to return to our warm cosy Mazot. We were made to feel very welcome by the team, nothing was too much trouble and were very helpful in organising ski passes, lessons and restaurant recommendations.
The living room provided magnificent views of Mont Blanc, a perfect place to let time slip by reading a book over a glass of wine. The galley type kitchen was more than sufficient to prepare simple meals and the piping hot shower was a knockout to awaken the senses. The bedroom was quaint with a comfortable bed accompanied again with amazing views. We rented a car but was hardly essential with the snow train on our door step as well as the ski buses. This amazing small chalet is very sweet, warm and cozy. It is very well equipped, you get everything you need. Mazot les Tines is a wonderful place for couples to stay, whatever the season, whatever the reason - romantic getaway or an active holiday. 5 stars without hesitation!
