About the Chalet

Chalet Piper is a modern and stylish chalet nestled in the heart of the Chamonix valley. The chalet was tastefully renovated in 2007 to create a versatile and luxurious accommodation which can either work as complete chalet or as two separate apartments.

The chalet is ideally located in a quiet area of Chamonix just 10 minutes walk from the centre of town and the Aiguille du Midi. There are stunning views on all sides of the chalet with a perfect view of Mont Blanc, the Aiguille du Midi and the sunny slopes of Brevent.

The interior is 500 m² and has 5 separate bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, two lounges and two kitchens including one professional standard kitchen. The decor is modern and homely with a stunning handmade oak and steel dining table, open wood fire, comfortable sofas, DVD players, Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside the chalet has a large garden with a modern hot tub, the perfect place to relax with a beer or a glass of champagne after a hard day in the mountains. There is also a lovely patio area with a BBQ and outdoor heaters and plenty of space to relax or play in during the summer months. At the end of the garden is a working vegetable patch which provides home grown vegetables for the chalet.

Flexible Accommodation

We offer a variety of different accommodation options during winter so whatever your needs we are sure to have something which will suit you.

• Bed and Breakfast: Our Bed and Breakfast option is a great choice for those looking to explore the delights of the Chamonix valley. We can offer you a cosy bed in our stunning chalet, a scrumptious breakfast and advice on ski routes and conditions. This option allows you to enjoy the hospitality of Chalet Pelerins whilst enjoying the wide variety of restaurants and eateries that Chamonix has to offer.
• Top Floor Self Catered: The top floor of Chalet Les Pelerins is available to rent as a luxury 3 bedroom apartment on a self-catered basis. The apartment has a large open plan kitchen/lounge area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining table and comfy seating area with TV and DVD player. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and we are on hand to offer advice on dining out, ski routes and conditions.
• Fully Catered (Whole Chalet): Our full catered option is perfect for those looking to sit back, relax and enjoy themselves. Our chalet host and chalet chef will be on hand to serve you a hearty breakfast and offer advice on the best ski conditions. When you return from the slopes you will find a freshly baked cake, tea and coffee. In the evening you will be served a gourmet 3 course home cooked meal accompanies with wine (6 nights of the week).

The Team

Chalet Piper is owned by David and Asa. After a very successful engineering career and two years off to sail round the world David decided to settle in the Alps and took Chalet Piper as his home. His wife, Asa, is a talented graphic designer adding a touch of Scandinavian style to the chalet.

The everyday running of the chalet, bookings and enquires is handled by Lynsay who has been with Piper since 2013. Lynsay is a keen skier and climber and when she is not in the chalet she is mostly seen in one of the many Chamonix bars. She is famous for her fabulous eggs she serves for breakfast.

Pricing

Prices in the winter range are very reasonable and range from 375 GBP fully-catered in the low season up to 650 GBP fully-catered in the very high season.
