With every second chalet now offering en-suites and hot tubs the Chalet offers the ultimate luxury - space. Set over two floors and boasting an impressive 360m2 of living space and can accommodate 12 guests in the utmost style.
This stunning, stylish yet homely chalet boasts, big comfy beds, chic, spacious en suite bathrooms, hot tub, log fires, a large, well equipped farmhouse kitchen, underfloor heating to warm your cold feet from the snowy outdoors in winter, easy access to Chamonix and the slopes, huge private garden, a real bar(!) and pool table, 100m2 living room, spectacular views. If you are looking for a refined and stylish getaway, then this is the property for you.
The difference between this chalet and virtually all of the others is that it's genuinely original. The owner is an interior photographer, with a lot of experience of top end chalets many of which lack any real love and imagination. They tick all the boxes but that's where it ends.
They owners have run this this chalet for 4 years and then took a break to have children and last winter 50% of the bookings were returning clients. This speaks for itself!

Our family of 13 enjoyed the most amazing and memorable week at Chalet le Bois in Les Houches. Prior to our arrival, Charlotte, the owner, went out of her way to accommodate our party and communicate so thoroughly regarding the best restaurants and activities our family might enjoy while we were there. She thoughtfully inquired about how we would like the bedrooms configured and was highly considerate in leaving staples such as bread, milk, and coffee for our arrival. Though Charlotte was away during the time of our stay, her friend, Jojo, was extremely helpful and went out of her way to answer our questions and make sure we had all we needed. When my grandson experienced an asthma challenge, Jojo immediately offered to locate an inhaler for him, which was so appreciated. The chalet is extremely spacious, very tastefully appointed, and impeccably clean. Each bedroom was so special, with an elegant private bath attached. The common room on the third floor was the piece de resistance and a wonderful place for all to relax, play games, watch TV, or just gaze out over the beautiful valley. The views of the Mont Blanc massif from the chalet are spectacular, particularly at sunrise and sunset. With 7 grandchildren, it was so nice to have the room to spread out and give them the opportunity to have their own space. It was terrific to not be able to find the kids sometimes, in light of the spaciousness of this home! A beautiful dining room accommodated all 13 of us at the table. This room also has a lovely seating area that was very cool during the warmer days. The chalet is also equipped with lovely outdoor furniture, an inground trampoline, and a hot tub; all of which were surely enjoyed by our family. The kitchen is very modern and equipped with all the conveniences anyone would desire. I would highly recommend this lovely chalet to anyone interested in enjoying rare luxury in a magnificent setting! Thank you, Charlotte, for providing our family with such a memorable experience that we will never forget!

Our family of 8 , 4 adults and 4 kids, enjoyed a fantastic 3 days in this beautiful Villa surrounded by the French Alps. We could not have asked for more - the Villa provides every modern convenience and has a modern but cozy feel. We all loved the family /game room upstairs and the kids especially enjoyed being able to run around outside in the big yard with a trampoline. We will definitely be back.

Do not think twice when booking this chalet. Chalet Sous Les Bois is perfect for all ages and Cahmonix caters for all skiing abilites. Chalet Sous is pure luxury, with a beautiful, extensive social space, large luxury bathrooms, comfy beds which were had to leave every morning. There are also many additional touches through the house which helped to make the stay special. Of course we went for the skiing but after a day on the slopes Chalet Sous with it's hot tub, pool table, bar and trampoline were all a bous to return to. We were a family of 11 people age ranges from 2 - 60+. We all smiled every day for the week. Thank you Charlotte and family.

Thank you so much Charlote for all your help and knowledge about your luxury accomodation and the surrounding area. The train ride was a huge success.The Brevent proved to be an excellent restaurant, another huge success voted by everyone. You have been great hosts and I am so pleased I booked the family holiday with you. It has been amazing. As you will be aware there is great competition out there but you definetly go the extra mile. I must say I was a little wary of booking accomadation having to drive to the slopes however I am now a convert. The parking at each venue is second to none. My granddaughter loved the trampoline and the slide, they kept her amused for hours. I think we will buying these for her second birthday next month. I hope everything goes really well with the business and I will recommend your properties to all my friends.

We had a fantastic short break and Charlotte could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. From the five star luxury surroundings, to the flexible catering that allowed us to eat like kings! Chalet Sous Les Bois was absolutely fantastic – everyone from 4 to 54 loved it and we would all definitely stay there again. Everyone from Charlie, the property owner, right through to Adrian, the driver(although he was so much more than that!!), could not have been more helpful and the food, expertly prepared by Adam & Clare, was just superb…...not easy considering the age range! As well as the top class food and service - one of the other things that made this chalet so unique was the sense of space that it creates. All too often ski chalets can be a little tight for space – particularly given there were 12 of us - but that top room in Chalet Sous Les Bois was out of this world and certainly made for an exceptional chalet experience.

I can highly recommend this property, from the point of booking Charlotte was a great help giving me a vast range of information to help us plan our visit to chaminox. The chalet was perfect it had everything you could have asked for and in particular the top floor that included a seating area a bar and pool table perfect for any group wanting to enjoy some relaxing time! The views from the chalet were stunning! I will defiantly be visiting this chalet again !

Stayed in the chalet with a group of friends for my hen do for a long weekend. Beautiful chalet with an amazing view from the living room area. The owners were so helpful to us in our stay. Can't praise enough hopefully we will return.

The chalet was absolutely stunning and offered everything! The chalet was able to host 2 families and we felt like we had plenty of space. It offered all the right amenities. The chalet was well equipped. The kitchen was spacious, bedrooms were large and comfortable and the chalet had a very homely feel. At no point were we disappointed! It is centrally located to all the local shops and takes 5 minutes to get the ski slopes. Charlotte our host went above and beyond to make our stay a desirable and comfortable. I have no hesitation in recommending this stunning chalet.

Chalet Sous Les Bois is truly a luxurious holiday destination nestled in a stunning and secluded location in the Chamonix Valley, but just a short drive to the town itself. The standard of accommodation is exceptional throughout and provides first class, relaxed surroundings for an unforgettable holiday. The upstairs lounge with its bar, pool table and wonderful views is a great place to relax and socialise. The owners are exceptional hosts - friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable. I've stayed here with both family and friends and have no hesitation in recommending it as a perfect chalet for a great holiday or even a corporate ski trip venue - I've arranged ours for a select group of BWB's Clients for January 2017 already !
