About the chalet

Le Majestic - formerly the Grand Hotel built in the 1900s - is a stunning 'graded' listed building with absolutely fabulous views of the Chamonix valley and in a prime spot of Chamonix centre - at the foot of Le Brevent minutes from the skiing and ambiance of the centre.

The gardens are beautifully kept, the corridors are wide and the ceilings are high - you would think you have entered a palace. The architecture is amazing and to this day the associated 'conference' centre still hosts important social events for the Mairie de Chamonix in its banqueting areas. It is an 4 minute walk to the Brevent ski lift and about a 5 minute walk to the Maison de la Montagne - the main ski school in Chamonix.

The ski bus that services all areas of the Chamonix valley, is right outside and free with your carte d'hotes. From the lounge or sun terrace you can even watch the Brevent cable car going up and down to the stationat 7,000ft above.

This apartment is finished to a luxurious alpine standard of Chamonix accommodation.

The lounge has ample seating, with a dining table and chairs, a large comfortable sofa plus 2 arm chairs. The flat screen TV is satellite so that you can watch UK channels.

The self contained kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size oven, four-ring halogen hob, extractor fan, washing-machine, fridge-freezer and plenty of cupboard storage.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed with storage.

Bedroom 2 is a bunk bedroom with full-size bunk beds with storage. The bathroom is fully equipped with a bath with shower over it, full size basin, bidet and a WC.

The hall also has a storage cupboard, clothes hooks and a full size mirror. The basement includes a private ski locker and there is private general parking outside included in the price.

The setting of MajesticA is just perfect for anyone - a peaceful Chamonix ski apartment but also right in the heart of it. There are other apartments nearby making larger groups possible.
