Chalet Angele

Chalet Angele is a beautifully positioned and well-appointed luxury mountain chalet located on a quiet hillside, perched above the picturesque village of Les Houches, in the Chamonix Valley. The chalet commands spectacular views of the Mont Blanc Massif which can be viewed from the panoramic windows and high level balconies surrounding the chalet.

Chalet Angele is unique - it’s location offers the peace and tranquility of the Alps, but with the convenience of great summer and winter activities on your doorstep. The chalet is approx. a 10 minute walk (2 minutes in the car) to the main ski lift in Les Houches and only a 5 minute drive into the historic and cosmopolitan town of Chamonix. Located on a private road no - through road, offering a secure garage for one car, and has ample parking in private grounds.

Lovingly renovated to a high specification internally and externally, is extremely spacious and can comfortably accommodate 8 people in 4 king/twin bedrooms, plus more depending on group dynamics. There are 2 en-suite bathrooms and a large family bathroom, plus separate WC. Perfect for families or groups of friends.

The chalet is built on 3 levels, with the ground floor comprising of the main entrance hall, a king/twin bedroom (bedroom 4) with en-suite bathroom, separate WC, utility/drying area and expansive equipment / ski storage room, with the luxury of underfloor heating. Additionally there is an indoor garage to park one vehicle.

The first floor also has the luxury of under floor heating, and offers extensive open plan living, with 2 seating areas. There is a flat screen television, satellite television, DVD player, Bose iPod docking station and WiFi access. A selection of books, games and DVD’s are also available. One seating area lends itself for the children's play area (or quiet area) fully equipped with board games, Wii machine, DVD, and toys for all ages. The double height lounge area has a modern wood burner, which adds warmth and atmosphere to the room.

The dining area comfortably seats a party of ten on a large oak table, with Patio doors on three sides leading onto a magnificent high level sun deck that wraps around the chalet providing beautiful 360º views.

The fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops and breakfast bar is well equipped for large groups, again with amazing views of the Mont Blanc Massif. It features a modern oven, 5 ringed gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and toaster, plus coffee machine. The open plan nature of the living area allows the chef to enjoy a glass of wine with the group whilst preparing a supper for everyone.

The second floor has the master bedroom with balcony and fitted wardrobes. The bed is fully flexible either as a King or Twin, a further bed can be added to provide a Triple configuration. The large en-suite bathroom offers a designer oval shaped bath and separate shower cubicle.

Bedroom 2 has a balcony and fitted wardrobes, and also has a flexible configuration of King or Twin beds. Bedroom 3 has fitted wardrobes and large picture windows to the front with great mountain views, can be a King or Twin configuration. There is a family bathroom on this floor with a large bath, separate shower, wash basin and WC.

Two additional put up beds can be made up for families with children allowing the chalet to sleep 10.

Externally - large wraparound Terrace with Hot Tub, plentify garden furniture for Summer & BBQ.
